This term is used
for ”bat wing“ arms. The skin of the upper arm is
excised and repaired. The procedure is performed when extra
skin rather than fat is the underlying problem. Also, if the
skin has poor elasticity and will not contract with traditional
liposculpture then brachioplasty is indicated
Liposuction can not correct excessive looseness of the skin.
It will just make the problem worse. Although the scar is long
in a brachioplasty, this procedure will truly rejuvenate the
upper arm.
