What is the BLUE PEEL?
The Blue Peel is an in-office procedure designed to significantly improve the appearance and health of your skin. Using a low concentration of the chemical trichloroacetic acid (TCA) mixed with a special blue base to slow penetration, the Blue Peel allows your doctor to monitor the appropriate depth to effectively remove the thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin from the face or other parts of the body. These dead skin cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.

BIOMEDIC – THE MICROPEEL®
Your skin is basically made up of two layers. The top layer you see is called the epidermis and measures, on average, only 1/1000 of an inch. Since this micro thin layer is often exposed to environmental effects, (i.e., sun and air pollution), it is frequently damaged. And damaged skin obscures skin clarity, even skin tone, uniform color and better texture.

CORRECTING THE SKIN BY EXFOLIATION
To exfoliate the skin is to rid the skin of its dead cellular debris; to shed its top layer. In the past, this was accomplished with products such as facial scrubs, loofas or in some cases with traditional chemical peels. These peels are one-session procedures that require recovery time.
